Ben Mills, DVM

Dr. Mills grew up in San Diego, California, where his love for animals first began. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of California, Davis, and went on to build a career in surgical and medical device research. After several years in the field, he chose to follow his lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian, earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine.

With a passion for both surgery and internal medicine, Dr. Mills is dedicated to helping pets live long, healthy lives. He partners with pet owners to provide compassionate, individualized care and is committed to expanding access to more involved surgical procedures.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Mills enjoys ceramics, and tackling projects around the house. At home, he loves spending time with his wife, Helena, their son, Robin, and their furry family members—Olive the pug, along with Tony and Buddy, their two cats.
